Clearswift recently announced that it has joined F5’s Technology Alliance Program (TAP).

The partnership will mean that the global cyber security innovator will gain recognition for its established adaptive data loss prevention solutions and will be able to maximise the value proposition offered to joint Clearswift and F5 customers.

This proposition allows the integration of Clearswift’s Adaptive Redaction technology via the Clearswift SECURE ICAP Gateway (SIG) with F5’s BIG-IP Local Traffic Manager (LTM). Combined, these innovative solutions provide customers with the benefit of deep content inspection within documents, webpages and application information requests, redacting sensitive information as data flows through or in and out of an organisation. This fully automated solution is achieved without impacting the high performance and optimised application delivery expected on these mission critical systems.

Kevin Bailey, Vice President, Market Strategy at Clearswift, said: “Clearswift is focussed on providing full Adaptive Data Loss Prevention protection across web applications for businesses across many different sectors.

“Our customers trust our commitment to provide a service that can fully protect their critical information, giving them the freedom to securely collaborate across the internet as an essential contributor to driving business growth. Aligning our technology with F5 solutions will help us deliver a secure and optimised user experience for web applications and servers. It also affords us the opportunity and resources to enhance our value proposition for joint customers.”

With BIG-IP solutions that optimise network infrastructure, Clearswift and F5 provide a highly scalable secure application platform, taking full advantage of Clearswift’s unique Adaptive Redaction technology to enable the user to pro-actively detect and mitigate information loss risks, alerting organisations to potential internal or external data breaches immediately.

Ron Carovano, Manager, Business Development, at F5 said they were ‘selective’ in who they partner with and that they only join forces “with companies that we believe provide a strategic benefit to our customers, as well as our business.”

Andy Wright, UK Commercial Director at SCC, commented: “This partnership is a significant development to help our customers on their journey to maintain visibility of and control across their web application critical information. I am certain that this will provide a real benefit that SCC can pass directly to our customers as we work with them on their transition to consuming more web services and applications.

“As a Gold channel partner of F5, SCC’s relationship and engagement with F5 continues to grow, as they are firmly at the centre of our customers’ application transformation projects. Clearswift joining the F5 TAP can only enhance their relationship with SCC, growing their business with us and we will be excited to see these benefits to our customers being realised in the coming quarters.”
